Face it, we'd all like a bit of fame and fortune and the trappings that go with it. So when an Australian talent agency set up in the South Island recently many Kiwis jumped to get on its books, for a fee.

But Close Up has found Tabitha Talent Management left a trail of unpaid bills and upset parents when it left the Sunshine Coast.

Now it's coming in for criticism here with more unhappy creditors and disgruntled clients who say they have paid their money but haven't got the work in film and television they were promised.

The owners of Tabitha Talent, Courtney Elice and her mother Sandi Alexander front up from their acting studio in Christchurch to face disgruntled dad Stephen Crean and his daughter Rose.
