All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has just been voted the world's best rugby player for the second year running.

This weekend he leads the All Blacks out against the Barbarians at Twickenham.

It's been a great tour but there is life away from rugby, even for the best player in the world.

Richie took some time out on the eve of the final game to talk to Europe correspondent Mark Crysell.

With regards to the mother with her kids on the plane....unfortunately all mothers see their children through rose-tinted glasses. The MP would never have said "I wish those kids would shut up" for no reason.

The parents of those little tiddles who irritated a nice MP on their flight to Wellington should get with the programme and stop trying to get airtime and political mileage out of a trivial situation. If you travel with four small children you're bound to irritate other passengers, and since when did we write to policital leaders to complain about that?!

Kaitaia Water - In the 'good old days' the council used to deal witht he alge problem in the dam buy a very simple method - they used to have a small jet boat whizz around in it for a couple of hours thereby airating the water and this killed/controled the alge. Simple but effective!!

Another beating....a 62 war veteran no less! This was in Tauranga in a posh part of town. How would these teenagers feel if it was there grandfather???!! It is appalling. He was only trying to help a crying girl and gets a bashing for his trouble.
