On Wednesday the defence summed up its evidence in the David Bain trial. Close Up reviews the key points.

After 13 weeks of evidence, the trial is drawing to a close and from Thursday the jury will begin its deliberations to find a verdict>

Guilty, not guilty or no verdict at all (a hung jury)?

On Tuesday Crown Prosecutor Kieran Raftery gave his  closing address to the jury.

Today, it was the turn of the defence to hold court and speaking on behalf of David Bain's team  was his lawyer Michael Reed QC.
