Plug-in test drive

Wouldn't it be great if you could just drive home and recharge your car by plugging into the wall socket?

That idea isn't so mad and isn't so far off. Toyota is trialling a limited number of plug-in Priuses around the world and Massey University has been given three to assess.

They are worth a $100,000 a piece. But how do they compare to a real car? Close Up finds out.
