It was the Duchess of Windsor who said you cannot be too rich or too thin, and it is the thin part that is causing a ruckus across the Tasman, over Miss Universe Australia contestant Stephanie Naumoska.
With doctors warning that Naumoska was unhealthily skinny, Stephanie has been fiercely defended by the pageant director, who pointed to her Macedonian heritage to explain her figure, a statement rubbished by nutritionists.
Close Up spoke to the contest winner Rachel Finch and Pageant Director Deborah Miller, and asked Deborah if she agreed whether Stephanie appeared painfully thin.
