There is a new hotel that has opened in Auckland, and it aims to start a new trend in hospitality.

Apparently it is all the rage in the States. There are the usual luxuries: the flat screen TV, king-sized bed, and every executive-level guest gets a spa experience before they leave.

But it is not for the likes of you and me. This is New Zealand's first luxury pad for pets. Gill Higgins went to see who was checking in.
