Stars of Strength Of Water - Source: Close Up -
Watch Video
On Saturday night parts of the Hokianga Harbour were like ghost towns.
You could have shot a cannon down the main street of Pangaru, Mitimiti and Pawarenga and not hit a local.
The reason? Well most of the whanau were in Auckland at the premiere of kiwi film the Strength Of Water.
It's a movie with the Hokianga in a starring role.
Robyn Janes went to tiny Panguru, to meet the unknown youngsters who took the lead roles and to find out how a little village in the Far North copes when a movie comes to town.
