Is Moko the dolphin a danger?

He's stolen surfboards, left teenage girls and women stranded at sea, even battered and bruised, and some say it's only a matter of time before Moko the dolphin causes a deadly accident.

More recently six people in almost as many days have needed rescuing at sea as Moko's temperament changes and he becomes more agressive.

The teenage dolphin is growing up and has moved to a more populated beach to play.

Problem is he relates more to humans than his own and may be looking for a mate of the human kind.

Donna-Marie Lever headed to Gisborne in search of the dolphin and Pofessor Mark Oramsm, a marine science expert from AUT, joined Mark in the studio.
