Their baby Megan was healthy during pregnancy. But after a
difficult delivery, she needed emergency resuscitation and was left
severely disabled for the rest of her life.
The Health and Disability Commission found partial fault but ACC after their own investigation decided to pay no compensation. It's a case that's left a leading specialist bewildered, its got a National MP criticising his own government and it means parents Mike and Jackie are destitute, as every penny they have goes on Megan's care.
