But MC Hammer, a.k.a Stanley Burrel, has gone through several incarnations since then: he's been bankrupt, a preacher and a reality star. Right now, he's the social networking King of Twitter.
MC Hammer is in Auckland to launch a new Xbox 360 game called Lips: Number One Hits, which features his single U Can't Touch This.
