Volunteers - those amazing folk that give of their time and talent to make life a litte bit better for others all for free.

It was World Volunteers' Day on Saturday so Mark decided to do his bit by helping out at Wellington hospital.

The volunteers there have made a big difference - they do everything from reading to the kids in the children's ward to helping those who get lost.

Mark failed in his first assignment when he took an out patient to the wrong ward but says there is a certain sense of satisfaction in helping out.
