Meet New Zealand's own Billy Elliot - a kid who dared to dream and followed that dream, despite the odds.

Eleven-year-old Harry Bartlett has a heart condition, but that hasn't stopped him becoming a national Irish dancing champion.

Bartlett has always wanted to dance with a world-class troupe, and so when touring show Dance of Desire heard about it, they decided to make Bartlett's dream come true.

Dance of Desire begins in Christchurch this Saturday and plays in 12 cities until the end of the month.
