Tyson Kennedy has never been afraid of doing things a little differently, because rock stars do not generally promote themselves as skinny guys with no class.

But as lead singer of Kiwi hit band Steriogram he has done New Zealand proud.

Now based in New York, Kennedy has diversified his business.

He is still a rock star, but he is also an in-demand hairdresser and a budding young inventor.
