Kiwi kid set to tear up the raceway

Most of his peers are happily getting their speed fix with video games, tearing up the world's circuits at break neck speed but not so 15-year-old St Kentigern student Mitchell Evans.

Evans is a skilled practitioner of the real thing and is being tipped as New Zealand's best prospect in decades to make it to the pinnacle of motorsport - Formula One.

This weekend he has been invited to the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne to meet with those who could put his career on the very fast track.
