It was August 10 last year when Jackie Knowles' father phoned her and said ''There's a story on Close Up tonight, you really should watch. It's about a new diet."

Jackie had tried basically every diet but she tuned in and five hours later she was still awake and finding out more from the internet at her home in Te Anau.

Now, 28 weeks on, Jackie is not just a big loser but she's about to become a spokesperson for the diet.
