Close Up takes a look at the $9.5 million Blue Water Black Magic exhibition in honour of Sir Peter Blake.

While the yachtsman, environmentalist and adventurer's life was tragically cut short, the legacy he leaves is massive. So, too, is the Blue Water Black Magic exhibition that opens this Saturday at the Voyager New Zealand Maritime Museum in Auckland.

The tribute to Sir Peter has been created in partnership with Te Papa, and the Blake family have been hands-on with the project.
