This week was Steve and Julie Adams' 24th wedding anniversary but for the first time in their marriage Julie spent the day alone.

Close Up first met Julie five weeks ago, when Steve had been missing for just a week.

His disappearance was a complete mystery but in six weeks there has been no trace of the Lower Hutt family man.

This week though, a tip-off, and so police and search and rescue made one last ditch effort to find him.
