Judge Rob Murfitt knows a thing or two about the impact of marijuana.
Murfitt sees the repercussions of cannabis every day, watching the people come in front of him on the bench as a Taranaki Youth Court Judge.
He has seen heavy users, some aged as young as nine, become mentally ill. Convention would suggest his observations be made in court but the judge is not happy to leave it there.
Murfitt has taken his message about marijuana to the big screen with his film called "Hiding Behind the Green Screen", a documentary that campaigns to turn off our young from turning on.
