What is it about animals that brings out the best in us?

As much as we've all felt for the plight of those caught up in the Victorian fires - a genuine recognition of their loss and the heartache - we still care about those animals.

And its no different on the ground there in Victoria, where Michael Holland caught up with a doting animal lover and her two precious patients.
