Everyone needs a friend, someone who can understand you and be there for you.
For Emily and Britanny the need was even more acute because not
many people could even begin to understand what each of them goes
through, until they met each other.
The girls are only seven and 11 and in their short lives have
endured more than most of us will in a lifetime.
Both have forms of dwarfism and after discovering each other their friendship spread to their parents.
So now the two families are travelling to the States for life-saving medical consultations with the world's best.
