Some of New Zealand's most idyllic spots are beginning to resemble rubbish dumps thanks to freedom campers leaving their mess behind. Close Up has been sent some unbelievable shots from the Queenstown Lakes District.

The mess has prompted one community board to block its lakeside laybys off with boulders to stop people camping there.

Corinne Ambler went to sunny Nelson to see how they are dealing with their freedom campers problem.
