It is being called the Everest of sailing - temperatures well below freezing, no sleep, and negotiating treacherous ice filled waters.
But it's all in a days work or 12 days work for Graeme Kendall. He is the first person to sail the Arctic North West passage solo.
It's all part of his bid to sail solo around the world. He's well into that now and as he was sailing past New Zealand he popped into Auckland's viaduct.
