The jury has retired to consider the verdict in the re-trial of David Bain.

It's been a long trial of 13 weeks during which one family has come under intense scrutiny.

Witnesses have spoken of a dysfunctional Bain family, of a mother who spent long periods in bed, a father sleeping in a caravan, a daughter working as a prostitute, and allegations of incest.

Close Up reviews some of the testimony about those who lived and died at 65 Every Street, Dunedin.
