It is one of our best loved and biggest selling drinks so why are families turning against it in droves?

Milk has always been the mainstay of children's diets, but an increasing number of babies can't tolerate it any more.

It causes eczema, vomiting and, in extreme cases, anaphylactic shock.

Specialists say the problem is on the increase and at present, they have no idea why.

Gill Higgins takes a look at the dark side of dairy and Mark Sainsbury is joined by leading allergies researcher Professor Rohan Ameratunga.

His advice? Dont overreact. If you have any concerns about your child's health then consult your doctor and take an allergy test. He also says never remove milk from a childs diet without consulting a dietician.
