Her enthusiasm for the idea of seizing and destroying boy racer cars has earned her the nickname "Crusher Collins." Now the police minister Judith Collins says she has come good on the threat.
A bill before parliament would make it a reality, and not just
for the boy racers: ignore those parking fines and your car could
be seized and sold.
But what if it's not your car? And is it all just political
grandstanding? Mark Sainsbury spoke to Collins and asked her
exactly what a boy or girl racer has to do to get their car
crushed.
