26-year old Tamaryn Venter says she has been an athlete since the age of four. She has swum nationally, been a competent surf life saver, and New Zealand kayaking representative.

But in eight weeks she will face her biggest sporting challenge yet. Having just won the Australasian Cross Fit Championships in Australia, Venter will fly to California to compete in the World's Fittest person competition, which includes a gruelling two days of running, lifting, gymnastics and strong man work outs.
