Despite painting being the family trade, Jason Gibson's career killed him.
In November 2006, Jason was hospitalised after a bleeding nose, and six days later he died of leukaemia. His was the first case ever identified as industrial death from solvents. But labelling in the industry suggests it won't be the last.
Now Jason's parents are battling for a better system to make people aware of just how fatal solvents can be.
