As we constantly hear of the recession and fears the building industry is on the skids you'd think it's a time when the chippies would be solely focussed on themselves. And who could blame them.

But that's what makes this story even more amazing. The builders are part of a community effort to reunite the Forsyth family. Mum, dad and the four kids want to be together again but that can only happen if they move. And it seemed an impossible dream until friends and friends of friends - some of them builders - all got involved. Gill Higgins has their story.

Builders helping the Forsyth Family would love help with landscaping, furniture, curtains and kitchenware. If you can lend a hand, contact Graeme Robertson on 09 412 9631 or 021 382 261 or grobertson@signature.co.nz
