Christine Rankin hits back at critics of her appointment to the Families Commission.

She is arguably our most controversial public servant.

The former work and income boss is known for the short skirts, dangly earrings and her employment court battle with the Labour government.

Others say her four marriages should disqualify her from the job.

Close Up speaks to Christine Rankin on the day of her controversial appointment.
