It is not uncommon for ex-partners to be locked in a dispute over the custody of their children, but what if those children are yet to be born or may never be born.

Martin and Dawn Thwaite were together for 18 years.

They struggled to have children and turned to fertility treatment.

Attempts to have a baby failed and the relationship ended more than two years ago, but four embryos they created remain frozen.

Dawn now wants to give these embryos life whether it's her own attempt to become pregnant or they are gifted to another woman.

She joins Mark, along with Dr Richard Fisher - Clinical Director of Fertility Associates.
