Buzz Aldrin is the original moon walker.
In fact moon is in his blood - literally. Edwin Eugene Aldrin Junior, or Buzz for short, was born 80 years ago to Edwin Senior and Marion Moon.
In 1969, along with Neil Armstrong, Buzz became one of the first men to walk on the moon.
It's an achievement that some still regard as a massive con job.
Buzz does not take the doubts well - he once whacked a man who called him a liar and a coward.
But did that Apollo 11 crew have doubts that they would get back alive?
Buzz Aldrin is in New Zealand for the Planet 2010 telecommunications and technology show, which is being held on Saturday 13 March at the Sky City Convention Centre.
He will be giving a 45 minute presentation at 9am and is
especially keen for kids to get along.
