Sadly it is an all too common story these days. A bus driver beaten up by a passenger for a little bit of cash, the attackers almost always youths.

When veteran bus driver Ian Magee was viciously attacked on his bus on Tuesday five teenage students on board came to his rescue driving off the assailant and it seems preventing far more serious injuries.

Battered and bruised the very grateful driver today turned up at St Pauls College to personally thank these teenage heroes.
