Overview
Cheers to 50 Years TXT2WIN is a PSMS based product designed to deliver interaction with the on-air television show so that home viewers can play along and win prizes.
Cheers to 50 Years is a one off television show on TV ONE. Within the 2-hour show, home viewers can answer up 10 skill based questions for a 99 cent fee. To do this they must txt the right answer, with the correct spaces, to ONE short code.
Prizes are won based on a 'fastest finger first' system. That means the first 1-5 people to submit the correct answer will win a prize. An answer is judged to be correct if it is spelt correctly, is in the correct order, with the correct spaces and the text contains no extra information. Answers are time stamped as they arrive so as to clearly declare the order of winning entries.
Winners will be telephoned during the show and notified of their win and their names will appear on the TVNZ 50 Years website as the show progresses.

RULES & GAMEPLAY
1. Cheers to 50 Years TXT2WIN is available to be played on
Tuesday 01 June 2101, 2030-2230 on Telecom, Vodafone and 2 Degrees
handsets.
2. Call cost is 99c for each attempt to answer a question. Ask
the bill payer for permission.
3. Apart from the call cost of 99c, there will be no
additional charges for txt or data traffic or game play.
4. Each question has only one correct answer. The question
starts the moment it is announced on television by the host.
5. A question is deemed to be answered correctly based on the
following:-
* The word or phrase is spelt correctly.
* Each word must be separated by at least one space.
* No additional characters must appear, on the phone after the
puzzle answer.
* Answers are NOT case sensitive.
6. A winner is eligible for prizes ONLY by answering the
nominated question correctly and falling within the allocated
number of winners for that particular question.
7. Anyone who answers the question correctly, outside the
allocated number of winners, regardless of when the answer comes
in, will receive a retail discount voucher via TXT message.
8. Anyone who gets the puzzle wrong will receive a 'wrong
answer' TXT message.
9. Winners, prize information and show information can be

10. Interactive Audience Ltd decision is final in all
matters.
11. Interactive Audience Ltd is not liable for any mobile
network signal dropout.
12. Fastest finger first winners are calculated from the time
that a text is received at Bulletin-net Ltd.
13. No TXT2WIN prize can be exchanged for cash.
14. Interactive Audience Ltd is not responsible for any
equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the
competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation or transmission, communications line or
telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, software failure,
theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of
entries.
