Patrick Bauchau (Lodz)
The versatile Patrick Bauchau has done a great deal of work in both television and films worldwide. He's played such diverse roles as the caring but conflicted psychiatrist, Sydney, in "The Pretender" and Jodie Foster's ex-husband in "Panic Room."
Patrick Bauchau was born in Brussels, Belgium, and raised in Belgium, Switzerland and England. He attended Oxford University on an academic scholarship and studied modern languages (he speaks French, English, Spanish, Italian, German and a bit of Russian and Flemish). Bauchau began his career in the French New Wave cinema. Bauchau's most recent film credits include the upcoming "Promised Land" and "Unchain My Heart: The Ray Charles Story." He can also be seen in "Shade," "Secretary," "Jackpot," "The Cell," "Twin Falls Idaho" and "Clear and Present Danger." Bauchau's television credits include "The Pretender: Island of the Haunted," "Kindred: The Embraced," "Day of Reckoning," "And the Band Played On," "Acting on Impulse" and "Murder, She Wrote."
