New Zealand Yellow Pages business Yellow has taken over APN News and Media Limited's online business directory Finda.co.nz.

The sale price in undisclosed, but it includes the Wises maps and menus.co.nz.

APN says it will retain the Finda name for Australia.

In 2007, Telecom sold its Yellow Pages directory services for $2.24 billion to a private equity consortium made up of the investment arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

That agreement was made up of a $2.165 billion cash settlement and approximately $75 million of Yellow Pages Group debtors retained by Telecom.
