The refinery processed 5.9 million barrels from January to March.
The company said the shutdown in February for a catalyst regeneration went as planned.
The average gross refinery margin was $US9.31 ($NZ16.48) per barrel in the January to March period. This translated into $US8.86 per barrel after adjustment.
During March refining margins dropped to around $US5 per barrel, reflecting a market rebalancing of refining capacity and demand.
The processing fee charged to customers for the January to March period was $NZ68.9 million.
