A Kiwi IT company has listed on the German Stock Exchange, joining seven other New Zealand companies.
Optimizer HQ, a web development company, was expected to trade at 0.10 euro but rose to 0.40 in its first six hours of trading.
The company, which was started in 2003 with $10 start-up capital, began trading on November 30 last year.
Manas Kumar is the CEO of the company and at 31-years-old is the second youngest CEO in the world to be listed on the Deutsche Boerse.
Optimizer HQ employs 11 staff and in the client list is Harvard University, Burger King and Footlocker.
Local clients include New Zealand Police and New Zealand Post.
Kumar said the listing was an important step for the company.
"And just as the growth of Optimizer HQ has been a rapid one, the listing was rapid too - we achieved the listing in just 47 working days," he said.
