Investment company Hellaby Holdings has appointed a new chairman.
John Maasland, who has been an independent non-executive director of Hellaby Holdings since 2008, will take over from Bill Falconer who retired from the board on Thursday after 14 years as chair.
Maasland is chairman of The New Zealand Radio Network and is a director of Delegat's Group, APN News & Media, Waterman Holdings and the Auckland Regional Chamber of Commerce.
He will take up his role on November 6.
