Sky City Entertainment Group Ltd says Jane Freeman has resigned as a director of the company.

Freeman, who joined the board in early 2008, has cited personal reasons for her departure.

"Jane has made a valuable contribution to the board, including chairing the human resources committee. She will be missed. We wish Jane all the best for the future," says chairman, Rod McGeoch.

Freeman has held senior marketing and management positions at Telecom's e-solutions, BankDirect, Clear Communications Ltd and ASB Bank Ltd.

She is currently a director on several New Zealand companies, including Air New Zealand, Delegats Wines, and Pumpkin Patch.
