Eftpos dealer Viaduct has bought Nelson based Eftpos and point of sales provider Networkz.

Viaduct director Mark Unwin says the merger is part of the company's growth strategy and will give Networkz the ability to expand its business both regionally and operationally.

Viaduct says Networkz customers will have a smooth transition and are set to benefit from the sale.

"Not only will they continue to receive the same high level service from their current rep, they will also have access to Viaduct's 24/7 technical support helpline and a wider range of terminal choice," he says.

Networkz former owners Steve Badham and David Jordan will stay on at Networkz, and there are plans to expand and increase staff numbers in the New Year.
