Air New Zealand's new state-of-the-art domestic terminal is being tested for the first time in Auckland on Monday morning.
New kiosks will enable customers to check-in their own bags and boarding passes sent by email or text can be scanned at departure gates.
Air New Zealand has invested more than $30 million in upgrading services offered to domestic travellers.
Christchurch Airport will follow Auckland on November 17 and Wellington shortly after.
