Meet Jodie (Jodie Dorday)
Jodie (Jodie Dorday) first met Brian when he was a
self-proclaimed Dunedin rock god.
Now, nearly 20 years on, she's living in Auckland with a stoner
husband and two kids, Josh and Kendall. She doesn't quite know how
her life ended up like this - she does the washing, cooking,
cleaning and child-raising while Brian comes and goes from his IT
job, moons over his long-past gold record, and gets stoned.
Jodie and Brian don't really talk much anymore, except to yell
and fight.

Jodie Dorday is a trained dancer and an award-winning
actress.
She won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Via
Satellite, and has appeared in television productions including
Blue Heelers, Shortland Street, Market Forces and Shortland Street.
She is currently living in Australia.
"I'm a hopeless liar," says Dorday, "so it was rather thrilling
to have the chance to play a lead character caught up in the web of
lies that Jodie and her friends find themselves spinning to try and
stay on top of everything - not particularly
successfully!
"The chance to throw large objects (really badly) at lovely Shane
Cortese was incredibly tempting! And of course the chance to
be back in my home town, doing what I love doing, was just too to
hard to resist..."
