Weatherman Sam Wallace - Source: Breakfast
Sam Wallace is a new weatherman for TV ONE who forms part of the Saturday Breakfast team and presented 6pm weather over summer.
Born and bred on Auckland's North Shore, Sam went to Westlake Boys High where he represented the school in Premier Basketball and 1st XI cricket.
During high school Sam's passion for drama had him acting a range of New Zealand dramas and he starred in the internationally acclaimed NZ film The Ugly.
Sam continued his education at Auckland University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science. While studying Sam played in the New Zealand NBL Basketball League representing his home town North Harbour.
In 2002 the basketball career was put on hold and Sam's passion to perform was rekindled when he was cast as a co-presenter of TV3's Sticky TV.
Sam wrote and presented the show for 8 years and over 2000 episodes before taking an opportunity in the TV3 news room.
Halfway through 2011 Sam jumped at the opportunity to join TVNZ as the new weatherman for Saturday Breakfast.
