Peter Williams is a weekend presenter of ONE News at 6pm and news reader for Breakfast.

A familiar face on our screens for 30 years, Peter is one of New Zealand's most experienced and long serving broadcasters having been at TV ONE since 1979, first as a sports anchorman and commentator, and for the last decade as a news presenter.

He brings the news to Breakfast viewers three mornings a week and co-anchors the 6pm bulletin on Saturday and Sunday.

Peter has anchored or reported from seven Olympic Games including Beijing in 2008, for which he won the TP McLean Award for Sports Television.
