After 25 years as founding editor of Fashion Quarterly, she launched New Zealand's biggest-selling fashion bible, Simply You and home title Simply You Living.
Paula's time is now focused on her lifestyle clothing brand, Paula Ryan Essentials, a collection of essential styles using exclusive Italian knits and a superfine New Zealand merino fabric, forming the building blocks of any woman's wardrobe. She also designs leatherwear, belts, bags and footwear and supplies to 150 stores in Australasia.
Despite a busy schedule with two successful businesses, family comes first. Paula and her husband Rob love to entertain, either at their waterfront apartment or from their beach house in the Coromandel.
