The Great Coffey Road Trip: Day 11, Blenheim

Got off to a great start in Blenheim...Decided to visit one of the many local wineries in the region to sample the Sauvignon Blanc. What a treat!

Had some great yarns with the locals about all of the local produce grown in the region and began to realise what a foodies' feast Marlborough really is.

Having had some cold, wet weather in Kaikoura, kept a close eye on the forecast but Blenheim lived up to its name as being the sunniest place in NZ, according to my friends at NIWA.

On the day we had a bit of a crowd before we even arrived, we did some wine tasting, food sampling, and some press-ups, thanks to my friend CPL Leo Waipo at the RNZAF. Wow!

Amazed by the turnout. Stoked. Thanks Blenheim!
