Audi's famous motto "vorsprung durch technik" translates as "forward through technology" and Audi Connect represents the latest in in-car technology.
The main features of the system are:
Navigation: Audi connect enables you to navigate using true-to-life Google Earth images. The system downloads high-resolution aerial and satellite images, photos, geological formations, road names/numbers and business listings to make the data even more useful.
Thanks to Google Street View you can see what the destination looks like while you are still driving there: just "run through" the street views made up of numerous photos and look at it from every perspective.
With Audi connect your vehicle can now go online at any time with an integrated wireless hotspot. The driver can then enjoy news, traffic information and weather reports etc while passengers can surf the internet with up to eight mobile devices and download their e-mails.
