National Standards
Yesterday Labour education spokesperson Trevor Mallard released, under OIA, letters to Education Minister Anne Tolley about the numbers opposed to National Standards.

Today, Breakfast got two very different views on whether the system to improve children's reading, writing and maths will work. Denise Torrey, principal of Somerfield School, opposes it. Donna Donnelly, the principal of Tikipunga Primary School, supports it.
