Josh Cooke (Ben)
Josh Cooke stars in the new comedy series Better with You as Ben, Maddie's longtime boyfriend and fellow practitioner of practicality.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Cooke quickly landed on Hollywood's radar, landing back-to-back lead roles on two NBC shows Committed, which he starred in with his current co-star Jennifer Finnigan, and the half-hour comedy series Four Kings, in which he starred opposite Seth Green for director James Burrows.
In 2006, Cooke starred on ABC's Big Day for creators Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, playing a newlywed opposite Marla Sokoloff and Wendy Malik. In 2007, he appeared in the one-hour drama Law Dogs for creator Barry Schindel, as a slick district attorney opposite Janeane Garofalo.
In 2004 Cooke starred in the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival
production of Twelfth Premise. He also appeared in the independent
film Partners, opposite Jay Harrington, and in Farewell Bender,
opposite Kip Pardue and Eddie Kay Thomas, which premiered at the
Tribeca Film Festival in April 2006.
Cooke most recently appeared in the feature Young People F*cking, an official entry in the Toronto Film Festival, and My Sassy Girl, opposite Elisha Cuthbert and Jesse Bradford. Additional film credits include the recent comedy feature I Love You, Man, opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segel, and the upcoming sci-fi thriller Terminal, the sequel to Quarantine.
Cooke currently resides in Los Angeles where Better with You films.
