The Oklahoma City Thunder roared past the struggling Toronto Raptors 115-89 on Saturday for their ninth victory in 11 games as they continued their chase for fourth place in the Western Conference.

Kevin Durant scored 23 of his 31 points in a dominant first half for the Thunder, who handed Toronto its 10th loss in 12 games.

Oklahoma City led 71-44 at the half and stretched the margin to 34 points in the third period.

The win assured the visitors of remaining at least within two games of the Utah Jazz in the West. The Jazz played the Phoenix Suns later on Saturday and a victory for the Suns would pull the Thunder within a game of the Jazz.
